Carey C. Bailey on Hope

Today, I like to introduce you to a dear friend, Carey C. Bailey.
 I met Carey last October at Relevant.
Our conversation began in one of the sessions and continued over coffee
at the {In}Courage lounge.

 We had a great time sharing our Journey and the way God is working in our lives...
...the hopes, dreams, and prayers deep within
It is a blessing to call her friend and continue those conversations today!

Carey is a wife, mom of two precious children, and host of an online community:
You must check out her devotional!

She loves God with her whole heart and has some HOPE to share with you today!
{Which is pin-able!}

Carey C Bailey – Bio
I am a lover of grace through Christ, a wife to the hilarious Mr. Bailey, and a mother of two precious children of God. I host an online community for moms called Cravings: desiring God in the midst of motherhood. After having kids, I realized I had to make a shift in my personal devotional time. The days of chillin in my comfy chair reading my Bible, journaling, and sipping hot tea were gone. I had to make it easier. Not less meaningful, just easier.  So I created daily devotional flashcards that help moms get their God time “on-the-go”. Cravings is a place of inspiration, encouragement, and community. I want you to be able to walk in and out of each day satisfied because The Bible, not cupcakes, has filled you up.

With Joy, Carey

{Thank You so much for sharing Carey!}

*All opinions about Cravings the Devotional are purely mine. I was not paid nor sponsored for the mention. It really is fantastic!

Let the Beauty...

"Let the Beauty We Love Be What We Do"
-Rumi

It is with Joy that I am excited to share with you some news!

God has been moving and working here in this space and in my heart. Placing deep within the desire to share Hope with you, Hope for your day.

A place where all women can come and share their journey.
Regardless of what chapter of life you are in.

He has created us for fellowship with one another.
And, on Monday, January 30th we will have a feature guest blogger here at
Simply Created by Cole.

A friend of mine, a Sister-in-Christ,
sharing the words God has placed on heart.

Would you please help in spreading the word?
By His Grace,
Cole

Feature Guest Post::Crystal Stine {Thoughtful on a Tuesday}

Hello Friends!
I am so thankful and blessed by this community. :0)

Today...
I am excited to introduce you to a friend of mine.
Her name is Crystal Stine and she blogs over at Shine.

She blogs about life, crafts, and God.
{Three of my favorite things!}
Her love for God is evident through her writing.

And it is through God...
that He placed a word on both our hearts for today...
the same word...

And that word is...
HOPE.

----------------------------------

Hey…you. You’re on my heart this morning. I have a question for you. Are you feeling:

Alone
Invisible
Sad
Heart heavy
Discouraged
Over-looked
Overwhelmed
Stuck?

I know you, sweet one. I have been there – I have felt those things. Over the past 27 years, in 2010, in the last month, in the last hour – I have felt every one of those heartaches, sometimes all at once. Stuck in the mire of the life we live that was never promised to be perfect, we search for perfection and “better” and … more… and when it remains illusive we
sink.

But there is HOPE. Perfection at our finger-tips, reaching out for us, searching for US, SEEING us. Our God sees – He sees, in the chaos of the world around us, through the darkness and difficult days, He sees You, dear heart.

With Him you are never

Alone
Invisible
Sad
Heart heavy
Discouraged
Over-looked
Overwhelmed
Stuck

You are nothing less than loved. You are SEEN, by the ONE who looks past your fear and disappoint and straight into your heart. And He takes up residence there, to heal and sooth.

She gave this name to the LORD who spoke to her: “You are the God who sees me,” for she said, “I have now seen the One who sees me.” (Genesis 16:13, NIV)
