The Fruit of Patience

Welcome to another day of Fruit for your soul...
Where we take one of the Fruits of the Spirit...
Read about it...
Study it...
Allow God to change us from the inside out...

To love people well...
to Glorify Him in all we do...
to grow closer to Him...

Grab what you need and find a comfortable place...
Allow God to show you, teach you what He wants...

*There is understanding in patience.
* God is not slow in keeping His promises.
* He is patient with us.
*Love is patient. (Love others well!)

What verses did you find on patience? What is God showing you?

Memorial Weekend: Texas Style

This past Memorial Weekend was a great get-away with some friends. We set out for Texas on Friday and returned back home on Monday. It was full of driving, shopping, chatting, hiking, and spending time together. Our Sunday morning Church service had a great message on patience from 2 Peter 3:8-9. "But do not overlook this one fact, beloved, that with the Lord one day is as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day. The Lord is not slow to fulfill his promise as some count slowness, but is patient toward you, not wishing that any should perish, but that all should reach repentance."

All of us are waiting for something and that something is different for each one of us. "Most of our life is in the wait...it's how we live life in the waiting room patiently waiting for Him," that counts. What are you waiting for? What are you doing with your wait?? Here is how we spent our time in the wait over Memorial Weekend, picture style!

Cross of the Plains
Groom, Texas

Hiking in Palo Duro Canyon

Cadillac Ranch

Traveling buddies, friends in Christ

Speaking of waiting....Gem #2 is right around the corner!
