Sitting here in this...

Clearing my head, for five minutes of free writing
without worrying about getting it right.
This week's prompt chosen by Lisa-Jo: Here
And, go...

Sitting here in this coffee shop and wondering, do I share the raw truths of my heart today?
Do I let them go, here in this space?
Hoping that someone may find Hope and Grace in them, through them.
So here I go...

If love never fails, why is it so hard?
How do couples, two people, get past the past hurts, fears, and percieved societal rules
to actually be free to love one another.

And if they aren't in that place yet.
How do they get free enough from their own selfish self to truly learn about and
grow with another to see if it's worth pursing?

How do you get past the hard?
The own ideas each of you have brought to this place,
to learn the true heart of the other?

What would happen if you didn't listen to,
forgot all of society rules,
expectations,
 and movie magic?

And instead came real,
stayed real,
and were honest.

Not quitting when it got tough or confusing but pushing through to the heart.

To dare to take a risk, a leap, to fly.

Sitting here in this coffee shop, a blessed friend, encourages me...
share those words,
wait for those words,
that is what God wants.
That is what you want.

...Wait for God's best she says...

STOP.

Trust... {Joining The Gypsy Mama}

I have to admit...
be honest, be real.

I sat on this post awhile.
Actually, until today before I choose to write it.

Afraid of what might come out.
Of what might be revealed.

I'm joining The Gypsy Mama and others today for Five Minute Friday.
Writing without edits, without looking back, for five minutes.

Letting the words grace the page.

Ready?

Here Goes...

---

He is before all things, and in Him all things hold together. Col. 3:17

This I must trust in. Not just words on a page, a prayer tucked in my heart.
But really trust to live out,
to believe.

To trust God in this Journey that is ever-changing.
To trust God with the hopes and dreams deep in my heart.
Hopes, dreams that have not yet come.
Hopes, dreams that dance in my heart and soul to be a wife and mom;
to encourage through writing, sharing God's Hope and Grace with all women, with you.

I must trust that He is before all things, going before me,
preparing the way I cannot yet see.
But hope to see...

I must trust that as I take steps of faith.
He is there.
Whether I turn to the right or left...
He is there with me.
Saying, "This is the way, walk in it."

This life, this journey, my journey, your journey, are steps of trust, of faith.
As it is says, "He is before all things, and in Him all things hold together."

I must trust.

---STOP---

What hopes and dreams are you trusting for?

Always... {Journey of Providence Day 10}

There is always Trust.
There is always Hope.

22 Because of the LORD’s great love we are not consumed,
 for his compassions never fail.
23 They are new every morning;
 great is your faithfulness.
Lamentations 3:22-24 NIV

As today is the last day for the Journey Series I am finding it hard to find the words.
The words to end the series when a good friend reminds me of this...

The great thing about Providence...
It’s not just for the past,
but the present, and future.
{Thank You Emily.}

God is with us where-ever we go.
No matter what we go through.
Always.

He was with me on that day my journey took a huge detour from the course I thought.
And He is with you too!
...Has always been.
...Will continue to be.

11 For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Jeremiah 29:11 NIV

I know this journey is not over.
There are things that God is waking up in me and moving my heart for.
Things I can’t quite put words to yet...

The contrast of the desert walking and field walking by Ruth strikes me as I process.
Drought to Provision.
Mourning to Joy.
Hopelessness to Hopeful.

God is so Good.
He is the constant thread of faith in the highs and lows of this journey.

Keep walking dear friends.
Where-ever you are,
where-ever you find yourself.
Keep on the Journey.

God is sovereign.
In Him we can Trust.
In Him we have a living Hope.

Will you continue with me?
Will you share your journey with us?
Will you share the Hope God has placed in your heart?

Father God,
I thank you that You are Sovereign over us. I thank you that in Your Word You promise that you will never leave us nor forsake us. Thank You that in You we have a future and a Hope, a Living Hope. Thank you for the lives You have weaved together through Your power and this journey. I pray God that our eyes and heart will look towards you always. Thank You for you grace, love, and mercy.
Amen.

Thankful to call them friends...

Since the Journey of Providence is never over...
The button will be displayed over there on the sidebar.
You are welcome anytime.

Trust

"Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight." Proverbs 3:5-6

As I sit here, hands at the keyboard, I can't help but trust that God has plans for this blog. What they are? I don't know. I trust in the fact that God has given me a desire to share with others, a desire for the written Word of God, and a desire to grow daily deeper with Him. Will it be hard? Sure. Will at times I wonder what His plans are? Don't we all at points in our life. But, I will trust in Him. I will step out in faith and see where He takes me. Will I always get it right? No, yet I will still trust in Him.

Dear reader, as you follow along on this journey. I pray that it shines Hope upon your day. Hope in a God that is bigger than us, that is bigger than our present circumstance. I don't profess to have the answers or that my own life is perfect. I only have the desire to share what God provides, what He directs.

So... welcome on this journey with me as I learn along the way. Thank you for you grace and love. Thank you to those family members and friends who have encouraged me to step out in faith and "Go for it." It will be real, but God will guide the way.

Love in HIM... xoxo
